How does the scription on the backpack and Persistence

Last spring, he met a guy with me, because I read the inscription on my backpack, "what shall it profit a man if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (Matf.16: 26)."

We exchanged numbers, but since then not met. I invited him periodically on the activities to suit our youth movement, pulse, but he did not answer. This year, I congratulated him on Christmas, and a few days later he called back with gratitude for the congratulations and invitations.
